RALEIGH – Similar to the Friday After Five free concerts that drew large crowds years ago, a new outdoor concert series has been announced in downtown Raleigh with a lineup of a wide range of bands.
The new free summer concert series is called Oak City 7 and each concert will be located in the City Plaza which is located on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. The first concert kicks of which kicks off May 31st.
Outside food and dogs on a leash are welcome at the free events, but concert goers are asked not to bring their own alcohol. There will be vendors on site who are selling beer and food as well, say concert organizers including local and craft beers, and North Carolina food companies..
