The robbery took place at around 4:30pm on Thursday, April 26th at the PNC Bank at 2414 Wycliff Road in Raleigh, say police.
“The white male suspect is described as being about 6 feet 1 inch tall and is thought to weigh about 185 pounds. He was estimated to be in his mid-50s and was wearing a dark colored short-sleeve shirt,” said Sughrue in a statement released to the media.
The man was possibly a Carolina fan, as he wore a white hat with a blue “NC” logo that’s familiar to most Tarheel fans as a symbol of the university.
