FAYETTEVILLE – In Cumberland County, police are looking for a man who broke into a school after hours, took his clothes off, and walked around the school naked.  Investigators say the whole incident was caught on surveillance video cameras in the school.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office announced this week that on Tuesday, April 10th, an unknown man broke into the Bejamin Martin Elementary School in Cumberland County after hours.  After he broke into the school, he then took off his clothes and started walking the school.

“The suspect was seen on video removing his clothes and touching himself,” said Debbie Smith of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.  The police department said they had a video of the man walking on and off camera while naked and are releasing portions of it to the public in an effort to identify the man.

The man apparently entered through an unlocked window in a classroom.  The police did not say if there were any items stolen during the break-in.

In the video, the man seems to be under 21, with long brown hair, an orange shirt, and tennis shoes.   Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 323-1500.  ::
