MORRISVILLE – After a ceremony over the weekend, several National Guard members have departed for Afghanistan.
Six soldiers of the Operational Support Aviation Command Detachment 17, N.C. National Guard, based in Morrisville near Raleigh were given a mobilization ceremony on Saturday before leaving.
The group of soldiers left RDU Airport on Sunday for their mobilization. ::
